FedEx Office offers low-priced paper marketing materials and stationery, and they have high-priced promotional materials and signs and banners. FedEx Office offers a range of printed products across all categories. FedEx Office lets you upload and print an existing design, and they also offer a design tool to help you create your design for some products. We found it very easy to upload an existing design, but they do not offer a free PDF proof of your design or free paper samples, which we consider to be market standards. FedEx Office also offers a mailing service (i.e. they will print, address, and mail the products for you).

Design and Printing

FedEx Office lets you upload your existing design as PDF, AI, PSD, BMP, CDR, CLK, or G files. We found uploading a design to be a very easy process. FedEx Office allows you to create your own design using their design tool for banners and lawn signs, but not for posters. Their design tool includes a WYSIWYG editor with drag-and-drop text and image manipulation and shows cut-and-bleed lines.

FedEx Office offers digital printing and not offset printing. Offset printing is a process in which a plate makes an inked impression on a rubber-blanketed cylinder, which in turn transfers it to the paper. Offset printing offers higher image quality, is more cost effective when ordering large quantities, and is better for larger prints. Digital printing is a process in which the data and images are printed directly from the computer onto paper. It has shorter turnaround time, is more cost effective when ordering small quantities, and is better for customized printing.

Banners

FedEx Office offers banners in order sizes of 1-10 banners. A single banner costs $95.99, which does not meet our Market Standard of $60 per banner. Note that price per banner will decrease as your order size increases. Banner sizes are 3 x 1.6, 4 x 2.5, or 6 x 2.5,and they can be in either a horizontal or vertical layout. FedEx Office offers banner stands and banner hangers. You can upgrade your banner to outdoor vinyl, which costs $12 extra per banner.

Lawn Signs

FedEx Office offers lawn signs in order sizes of 1-40 lawn signs. A single sign starts at $33.99, which does not meet our Market Standard of $25 per sign. Note that price per sign decreases as you purchase more signs. Double-sided printing increases per-item cost by $8. Wire stands are available for $3.99 per stand.

Posters

FedEx Office can sell you one poster for $67.99 per poster, which meets our Market Standard minimum order size of one poster. Posters are available in the following sizes: 18 x 24, 24 x 36, 22 x 28, or 36 x 48. You can create posters with horizontal or vertical layouts. Posters are printed with laminate, gloss, or matte finishes.
