- Professional design help available
- Mailing service available (The provider will print, address, and mail the products for you.)
- Standard shipping time of 3 business days (Market Standard is one week)

Cons:
- Minimum order size of 500 for letterhead (Market Standard is 250 items)
Conclusion:
Uprinting offers low-priced paper marketing materials, promotional materials and stationery, and they have high-priced signs and banners. They do not offer many promotional marketing materials, but they do offer calendars, gift certificates and magnets. UPrinting lets you upload and print an existing design, and they also offer a design tool to help you create your design for some products. They are also one of the few providers that offer professional design help and a mailing service (i.e. they will print, address, and mail the products for you).
We found their customer support to be average quality. Their phone support was extremely helpful, but their email support does not always respond. UPrinting has a standard shipping time of 3 days, which is faster than our Market Standard shipping time of one week.
Design and Printing
UPrinting lets you upload your existing design and have it printed. We found it easy to upload your design. Uprinting accepts these files types: PDF, JPG, TIFF, PNG, EPS, Illustrator, Publisher, DOC, JPEG, PSD, DOCX . You can also create your own design using their tool for letterhead and greeting cards, but not for envelopes. We found their tool easy to use: it lets you upload, resize and crop images and lock elements into place. Uprinting offers professional design help to aid you in creating your design, but this costs an extra fee, depending on the product.
Uprinting offers both offset and digital printing. Offset printing is a process in which a plate makes an inked impression on a rubber-blanketed cylinder, which in turn transfers it to the paper. Offset printing offers higher image quality, is more cost effective when ordering large quantities, and is better for larger prints. Digital printing is a process in which the data and images are printed directly from the computer onto paper. It has shorter turnaround time, is more cost effective when ordering small quantities, and is better for customized printing.
Letterhead
You can order letterhead through UPrinting in quantities ranging from 500-500,000, which does not meet our Market Standard minimum order size of 250. For 500 letterheads, it costs $169.31. As you order larger quantities, your price per letterhead gets significantly cheaper. UPrinting’s letterhead comes with a smooth, natural paper finish.
Greeting Cards
You can order greeting cards through UPrinting in quantities ranging from 25-10,000, which is much better than our Market Standard minimum order size of 250. For 25 greeting cards, it costs $32.21. As you order larger quantities, your price per greeting card gets significantly cheaper. Double-sided printing is available and costs $3.28 for 25 greeting cards. UPrinting’s greeting cards come with matte, gloss, or uncoated finish.
Envelopes
You can order envelopes through UPrinting in quantities ranging from 250-100,000, which meets our Market Standard minimum order size. For 250 envelopes, it costs $41.93. As you order larger quantities, your price per envelope gets significantly cheaper.
Shipping
The standard shipping time is 3 days, which is faster than our Market Standard of one week. The standard shipping prices are $10.79 for 500 letterheads, $9.49 for 25 greeting cards, and $10.57 for 250 envelopes. Shipping prices may vary with location. 1-day and 2-day shipping is available for an additional cost.
Proofs & Samples
Uprinting offers both a free PDF proof and a hardcopy proof of your design. They also offer free product samples (a pack of paper options that are mailed to you and from which you can choose), which meets our Market Standard.
Additional Stationery
In addition to letterhead, greeting cards and envelopes, UPrinting offers folders and invitations.
Customer Support
Uprinting offers phone, email and live chat support, which is available Monday through Friday, 24/7, and Saturday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. We experienced minimal to no wait times on the phone, and email responded in 2 to 4 hours. The overall quality of customer support was average. Uprinting offers a money-back guarantee, which meets our Market Standard.
