Conclusion:

PsPrint offers low-priced stationery, and they have high-priced paper marketing materials, promotional materials and signs and banners.  They do not offer many promotional marketing materials, but they do offer calendars and magnets. PsPrint only lets you upload and print a design you’ve already created and does not offer a design tool to help you create your design. We found uploading a design to be a complicated process than with most other services because there are a lot of steps you have to follow in order to upload a single file. They are one of the few providers that offer professional design help and a mailing service for some products (i.e. they will print, address, and mail the products for you). PsPrint has relatively high minimum order size for several of their products.

We found their customer support to be average quality. PsPrint has a standard shipping time of 4 business days, which is faster than our Market Standard shipping time of one week.

Design and Printing

PsPrint gives you the ability to upload your existing design and have it printed, but it’s a more complicated process than with most other services because there are a lot of steps you have to follow in order to upload a single file. PsPrint does not have pre-designed templates, nor do they have a design tool that lets you create your own design. They do have blank downloadable templates for brochures, flyers, and postcards and accept PDF, TIFF, JPG,PS, PSD, and EPS files for design uploads. PsPrint has professional help available for your while you’re creating a design, and the price for design help varies by product.

For small quantities, PsPrint uses digital printing, which is a process in which the data and images are printed directly from the computer onto paper. It has shorter turnaround time, is more cost effective when ordering small quantities, and is better for customized printing. For large quantities, PsPrint uses offset printing which is a process in which a plate makes an inked impression on a rubber-blanketed cylinder, which in turn transfers it to the paper. Offset printing offers higher image quality, is more cost effective when ordering large quantities, and is better for larger prints.

Letterhead

PsPrint’s letterhead comes in order sizes of 500-50,000. The minimum order size of 500 letterhead is larger than our Market Standard of 250 letterhead. 500 sheets cost $169.15, and the price per sheet gets cheaper with larger orders. For PsPrint’s letterhead, you have the choice between a smooth finish and “white wove” finish.

Greeting Cards

Greeting cards from PsPrint come in order sizes of 50-10,000. The minimum order size of 50 cards costs $69.92 and is smaller than our Market Standard of 250 cards. The price per card gets cheaper as your order gets larger. Greeting cards come with either glossy or matte finish. You can get double-sided printing on the cards for an extra $14.68 for 50 cards.

Envelopes

PsPrint’s envelopes come in order sizes of 500-50,000. The minimum order size of 500 envelopes costs $194 and is larger than our Market Standard of 250 envelopes. The price per envelope gets cheaper as your order gets larger.

Shipping

PsPrint’s standard shipping through UPS Ground will take 4 business days, depending on your location, which is faster than our Market Standard of one week. The cost to ship 500 sheets of letterhead using the standard shipping method is $20.87. The standard shipping cost for 50 greeting cards is $10.18, and of the shipping cost for 500 envelopes is $22.36. Shipping prices vary with location. They also have faster shipping options: next day and 2-day shipping as well.

Proofs & Samples

PsPrint offers free electronic proofs as well as hardcopy proofs through the mail, which meets our Market Standard. The price of the hardcopy proof depends on the print job. They will also send you paper samples if you request them, which meets our Market Standard as well.

Additional Stationery

In addition to letterhead, greeting cards and envelopes, PsPrint offers invitations and notepads.

Customer Support

PsPrint has phone and email support available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific. We experienced a wait time of 5 minutes over the phone and about 3 hours over email. Overall, we considered the quality to be above average, as the customer support representatives we spoke to were helpful, and fairly quick in responding to all questions.  They also offer a money-back guarantee, which we consider to be a Market Standard. The money-back guarantee is only applicable if the mistakes made on your print job are the vendor’s fault.
